THE FIRST LOOK
I'm sure you're wondering, "What inspired this look?"
Two things: The weather and my *NEW* Steve Madden 'Wifey" boots.
I don't know about your current weather situation but it's freezing and drab outside in Dallas, TX, and what better way to stay warm and fashionable? Throw on a Fur coat of course! I absolutely LOVE this fur. It is the perfect color!
If you read my previous post about FASHION TREND: HOP ON BOARD THE VINYL EXPRESS then you already know about my new obsession with Vinyl leather. This is the perfect fabric for a cold and rainy day by the way. The high-waisted skirt gave me the perfect silhouette and since vinyl is stretchy I was VERY comfortable all day.
Since this outfit was a fitted look and mainly black, the grey fur was the perfect match and gateway for my silver Steve Madden "Wifey" boots to shine and make their fabulous debut.
All I wanted for Christmas was the Steve Madden "Wifey" boots! When my husband surprised me with them, I already knew what outfit I wanted to wear with them. I mean I'm a Wifey and I LOVE sparkles...these boots were made for ME!
The black body suit and Fashion Nova "ShowGIrl" fishnets were just a necessity that couldn't be overlooked. At first I thought it would be too much, sparkle on sparkle, and sparkle sparkle on shiny. Then I put on one leg of the fishnets and I KNEW this was LIT!
If you saw my Youtube trailer, you saw I had the choice of wearing my curly hair or this long 40 inch black straight hair. As you can see I went "Back to Black" and I'm so glad I did.
Black is sleek, chic, and ON FLEEK! I wonder what I'll wear next week.

Is it TOO much or just enough?
